Ophold varer typisk en uge. Andre ophold varer kun tre dage, for eksempel ophold for stressramte samt ferieophold i sommerperioden og julen.

Saxild Strand er primært for seniorer over 55 år fra Aarhus Kommune. For dem koster et ugeophold omkring 2.500 kr.

Saxild Strand ejes af Aarhus Kommune, der har forpagtet driften ud til FO-Aarhus. Stedet drives som en socialøkonomisk virksomhed, hvor bl.a. Ældresagen, Alzheimerforeningen, Hjerteforeningen og andre patientorganisationer er repræsenteret i bestyrelsen.

Saxild Strand Health Resort is primarily for seniors over 55 years from Aarhus municipality. A weeks stay for a senior costs around 2.500 kr. The Core services are:

• Recreation

• Pre-emptive public health

• Light rehabilitation

• Relief care stays

• Courses for patients and relations

Stays are typically of a weeks duration. Other stays are only three days, for instance stays for people recovering from stress as well as vacation stays in the summer season and over Christmas.

Saxild Strand is owned by Aarhus municipality while the day-to-day operation is handled by FO-Aarhus. The place is run as a socioeconomic enterprise, where among others Ældresagen, Alzheimer Foreningen, Hjerteforeningen and other patient organisations are represented on the board of representatives.
